Terms of Use

These terms apply to the Audeno app, sold on the App Store by Yahor Kamarou, Ukraine, and to this website. Your licence to use the app is granted under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula). These terms add to it; where the two disagree about the licence, Apple's agreement applies. By downloading or using the app you accept both.

The licence

You may use the app on any Apple device you own or control, as the App Store's rules allow. You may not copy, modify, sell, rent, lend, redistribute, reverse engineer or decompile it, except where the law allows it despite this, or use it for anything unlawful.

What is free, and what you buy

The full text of every book, its quotes, and the introduction and the first three main lessons of every course are free. The complete audio course of a book is bought once, through the App Store, at the price it shows. The purchase belongs to the Apple Account that made it and opens that book's course in every language it has at the time and every language added later; it does not open other books. You can restore your purchases on any device signed in to the same Apple Account. There is no subscription.

The books, the courses and the rights in them

The original books were first published between 1891 and 1926 and are historical works; where the law of your country treats them as public domain, nothing here restricts your use of those original texts or of the ideas in them. The translations, editorial materials, lesson scripts, recordings and the design of the app were prepared for Audeno and belong to the publisher: © 2026 Yahor Kamarou, all rights reserved to the extent provided by law.

You may listen to and read these materials for personal, non-commercial use through the app or on this website, and share individual quotations with the app's sharing feature, keeping the attribution it adds. You may not republish, sell, distribute, extract, record or make publicly available the translations, scripts, recordings or other protected materials, except as the law permits or these terms expressly allow.

Historical texts, not advice

The courses present the authors' ideas as they wrote them a century ago, in their own voice and with their own convictions. We add context where it helps understanding, and we leave you to agree or disagree. Nothing in a book or a course is medical, psychological, legal or financial advice; where your health or your money is concerned, ask a professional who knows your situation.

Availability

Audeno is offered on the App Store in the countries where we have confirmed the rights in every book; the list is on the support page and may grow. The catalogue of books, and the languages of a course, may change over time.

Purchases and refunds

Payments and refunds are handled by Apple under its rules; ask Apple for a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. A purchase that is waiting for approval, for example under Ask to Buy, opens the book once Apple confirms it; you are not charged twice.

Updates

We may update the app to fix problems, keep up with iOS, correct a text or a recording, or improve a course, and may change or remove features when we do. The app may stop working on old versions of iOS. We may stop selling a book. If you bought it, you keep it: the lessons already on your iPhone stay playable, and we keep its recordings available for download for as long as we offer Audeno.

No warranty

We make Audeno as carefully as we can, but it is provided as it is, without any warranty that it is free of faults or fit for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits the rights a consumer has by law where you live.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from the use of the app, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us through the App Store. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version will appear on this page with a new date. This version is effective from 14 October 2026.
